Eloking: Elokin making action.
I am doing this to wake the slumbering art maker in me. I've always loved to create with my two little hands, big sighs, messes all over the floor, bits of glitter and paint tangled up into my hair by 3am after a great mash of crafting... Satisfaction and self-conciousness all at once.
Well, it's finally been too long. I have just now allowed myself the freedom to reclaim art into my life, to unleash creative fury in the name of rebellion- a revolutionary act against my own self-doubt and inner criticism. I hope this small step will assist you to unlock your doors as well, we sure can build a more sparkly, jangly and crafty world together. Let's do it!
So these are images, ramblings, and little bits for the sparking of creative revolution. A nice thing thing to enjoy on any Sunday afternoon. please share your thoughts with me...

PROJECTS:
Because art grows, really.
Compost Your Art!
Craft you can sprout.
To the left is an innocent rice dough unicorn, which will sprout up her mane of seeds as she slowly crumbles over the next few weeks- a temporary art fit designed to return to the earth in a gentle exchange of seeds become craft, to soon become compost.
And finally, to return again as brightly colored marigolds, which I will harvest and boil down to make yellow dye. Some of the flowers I will dry and cover in oil, as a first step to create a salve to treat burns from haphazard candle making nights.
This unicorn was a product of a workshop my mother and I hosted through the APAture 2007 festival, it was a lovely time. More photos can be found in the Projects section.
